I’m a multidisciplinary designer, and my work draws on a mix of cultures, traditions and languages. Since I was a child, I’ve loved turning what’s around me into something new: mixing, inventing and building from what was already there. That instinct led me to interior design, where I learned to think through space and light, and to notice the feeling an object creates around itself.
‍
Over time, the objects within those spaces became more interesting to me than the rooms themselves: how they’re formed, how materials behave, and how a single piece can change the mood of a space.

Travel, craft traditions and different ways of making have become part of how I work. I rarely start with a fixed drawing. The form changes as I go. I’m drawn to uneven silhouettes, tactile surfaces and small imperfections that make an object feel alive rather than manufactured.
‍
Papier-mâché suits this way of working: light, humble and endlessly versatile. It can be built up, reworked and textured again and again, slowly, until the piece feels right.

UNUM is where all these parts of my practice meet. The work keeps evolving through curiosity, experimenting with materials and the simple pleasure of making something that didn’t exist before.
